Beach Bag
This durable beach bag is perfect to carry your belongings with you when you’re lounging by the pool, walking around the ports, or relaxing at the beach!
It’s durable and comes in multiple sizes so you can choose which is best for you and your family! It also has a bunch of pockets and water-resistant lining!
Towel clips
You’ll want to bring towel clips with you go on your cruise. Cruise ships can get windy, either a lot of wind or just a small gust, either way, you don’t want your pool towel blowing away.
So, I always bring these to keep my towel anchored to the chair! Most cruises provide you with a beach towel to use too, but it can be easy to mix your towels up with all the other passengers that are using the same type of towel!
So, by using a towel clip, it’ll be super easy for you to tell which towel is yours when you’re coming back to your chair after stopping by the poolside bar or any poolside competitions!
Waterproof Phone Pouch
I highly recommend bringing a waterproof phone pouch if you plan on swimming at the beach. These are perfect for if you don’t want to leave your phone on the beach or are worried someone will steal it while you’re out in the ocean.
Or if you want to bring your phone with you on water excursions and want to have the ability to take pictures to remember your vacation!
Pop-Up Laundry Basket
I highly recommend bringing a pop-up laundry basket with you! They’re collapsible and easy to pack and travel with.
The cabins can be a bit small and it will help you keep your stateroom organized and tidy, as well as having a space for dirty clothes you may want to wash while you’re on your trip!
Laundry Detergent
Speaking of laundry, I always bring travel laundry detergent packets so I can wash some clothes throughout the vacation! This has especially come in handy when I dropped dessert on my white dress I wanted to wear the next night, LOL.
So, I think laundry detergent is definitely a cruise essential because whether you are planning for it or not, sometimes you need to wash your clothes!
Also, I love this one because it comes with a sink plug, detergent, and a little clothesline to air dry your clothes!
Portable Alarm Clock
This clock is definitely something you should pack for a cruise for a few different reasons. First, it is small and portable and takes up very little space in your luggage and your stateroom.
Second, it lights up so when you wake up in the middle of the night it’s super easy to see what time it is.
Third, it’s an alarm clock so you can make sure you get up when you want so you don’t miss any fun events on the ship.
And fourth, it is an atomic clock! This means it changes with time zones automatically, so when you’re going into different time zones on your trip, you don’t have to worry about setting your clock! It’ll do it for you!
Hanging Shower Caddy
The staterooms tend to be a bit small. Which can make living in them a little crowded with all of your things. So, I recommend bringing a hanging shower caddy that you can hang up and store your toiletries in!
Thus keeping them from overcrowding the counters and keeping your stateroom organized and tidy! This one also would be perfect to use as a travel toiletry bag!
Magnetic Hooks
Another way you can keep your stateroom looking nice and decluttered is by bringing magnetic hooks! Most ships have metal walls or metal parts of the walls so you can put these up for extra storage!
Mini Portable Steamer
I hate when I can’t get wrinkles out of my nice clothes when I’m traveling. I’ve tried hanging my clothes up when I shower to let the steam take the wrinkles out, spraying water on my clothes, and those tricks only work occasionally.
However, I’ve found using a steamer works 100% of the time! So, I recommend bringing a travel-sized steamer so you can get the wrinkles out that are in your clothes from being in your suitcase and you can look amazing all night!
Small Tote
If you don’t want to carry around a beach bag on port days but still need a cute tote, I recommend this one!
It has major vacation vibes, is super cute, and goes with pretty much every outfit! It is also perfect to carry around the cruise ship on days at sea!
Floppy Hat
Nothing is worse than getting a bad sunburn on vacation. So, make sure you bring sunblock and a floppy hat to protect your skin!
Plus floppy hats are super cute and are perfect for wearing anytime you’re outdoors!
Portable Folding Hangers
If you haven’t been able to tell, I love organization and storage when cruising! So, I recommend bringing these hangers so you can hang up your clothes!
You will prevent wrinkles and also stay organized! I love these ones the most because they’re collapsible and are super easy to travel with and they don’t take up much space!
Night Light
This battery-operated night light is perfect to bring with you on your cruise! It has a motion sensor so it won’t stay on all night, but it will make getting up to use the bathroom a lot easier so you aren’t fumbling around in the dark! It also has a magnetic base so you can stick it wherever you want in your cabin!
Waterproof Pouch
If you’re like me and get nervous leaving your valuables on the beach while you go swim in the ocean, I highly recommend getting a waterproof pouch!
It will keep your phone, key card, wallet, etc. safe and dry while you’re out in the water! I would also bring it on water excursions like kayaking or paddleboarding to make sure your stuff stays dry!
Lanyard for Cruise Room Cards
If you’re worried about misplacing your stateroom key card, I recommend getting a lanyard!
You can wear your card or even keep it in your bag so it’s easily accessible to you when you are trying to get into your room, buy a drink, get off the ship, etc.!
